In North Carolina, girls face significant challenges during adolescence, from a lack of menstruation education to rising mental health concerns. The Grow & Glow Collective is the solution, providing:
• Comprehensive, age-appropriate education.
• Leadership and career readiness for high schoolers.
• Resources to improve mental health and reduce teen pregnancy rates.

Teen Pregnancy Rates
NC teen birth rate: 18.7/1,000; 10% of births are teen moms, 65% don’t graduate.
Suicide Rates
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for youth; 14% of NC teens consider it, and mental health visits rose 41%.
School Coverage
Only 20% of schools teach menstruation; GGC plans to serve 500 girls yearly and expand to 10 counties by 2026.
